I uncovered my passion for music as a child when I would spend hours on end reading lyrics, from albums to fanzines,
I was obsessed!
Growing up on old school country and 70's & 80's pop music, my style was greatly influenced. Artists like Willie, Waylon and the boys, Crystal Gayle, Crosby Stills Nash, Young, Wilco and Sheryl Crow have all left their mark on me.
I first performed as the Mandy Smith Group, a band known for its 3-part harmonies. I then morphed into an Acoustic Duo Smith DeVille with guitar hero and songwriter Phil DeVille and I'm now performing my entire song book from over seven albums of music as Mandy Tague my actual pen name.

I am proud to record my songs at House of Sound Studio aka King Benny Productions with Jacob Rodriguez.
Jacob is my creative collaborator, engineer, bassist, drummer, guitarist and whatever else we need that day.
"Rearranged" marks my debut streaming release, and I have recorded and released many albums including Mandy Smith Group, West Texas Sun, Comin Home, Texas Star, Texas Radio, Pop Americana.
